I am always reading something, and most of the time I am on a hunt for books. During one of my searches last week, I randomly landed on flipkart.com.
Flipkart is offering books at great prices, discounts vary from 30-40%. The fresh smelling copy arrives in a neatly laminated package in no time. A good product clubbed with great price and excellent service raise the online marketing to a hitherto unknown level in India.
I ordered a book on Friday evening and the book delivered on Monday afternoon. Happy with the service, I ordered another 3 books on Monday evening, I was surprised that the books were delivered on Tuesday, that is less than 24 hrs.
If more products are added to the list and the same momentum continues, Flipkart is sure to give ebay a stiff competition . With Amazon destined to enter Indian markets soon, the war of online marketing in India is only going to get tough. It would be great to see an indigenous company emerging victorious. Good Luck!
